Denis & Denis - Soba 23 and Program Tvog Kompjutera
Croatian synth-pop duo Denis & Denis are legends. With their first album Čuvaj se! (In English be Aware!) in 1984, they became one of the most popular bands in the former Yugoslavia, and singer Marina Perazić became a sex symbol of the Yugoslav rock scene. They stopped performing in 1988, but reactivated in 2012 with the original line-up. Now 66 years old, Ms Perazić is still singing and jumping around the stage enthusiastically, with keyboardist Davor Tolja helping her.
The recording contains two of their hits, Room 23 and the best-selling single of 1985 in Yugoslavia, Program tvog kompjutera (Your computer program). It's interesting to me because young people still recognise these songs from my youth and sing them together, or if you can hold out until the second song, record them with their phones. They used to have lights.
