Kaleidoscopes Again
Hello, everyone! 📷 😎
I was again tempted to generate kaleidoscopes from my photos. In the "good old days," I took hundreds of them, posted regularly weekly for about three, maybe four years, and have a few thousand on my drives. Now, the question is, were those the good old days? The old days, certainly, but the good days, that's debatable... but another time...
Here are some kaleidoscopes from three more recent photos, where I'm most impressed by color and symmetry. I've only used plugins for graphics programs, namely the Chung Dha Preset plugin for Photoshop and Premiere and the DPL Kaleidoscope Distort effect for Paint.Net. I didn't use any AI because they don't give satisfactory results for the kaleidoscopes. Maybe I should teach the AI agent how to create kaleidoscopes. Or for something more valuable than my amusement? Because these things are very energy-hungry...
And that's an original photo
But I noticed a mistake (which I won't make again). The photo needs to be very dynamic for an excellent kaleidoscope, but I only picked out the details of the flowers. I knew that before, but I forgot. :)

To continue with my obsession with kaleidoscopes, you can generate lots of them from a single photo by varying the settings of the source center, repetition, viewing angles, and colors. And they're still photos of the moment; they're just seen from a different angle than usual. Nothing alien :)
